Walter L. Newton, 77, of Walla Walla died Saturday, July 8, 2017, at his home. He was born March 6, 1940. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 29 at 9 a.m. at Martin Field Airport in College Place, Wash. Following the service, people are invited to the family home for breakfast. Arrangements are with Professional Funeral Directors, 315 W. Alder St., Walla Walla.
